Da Lat & Mui Ne: City, Country and Beach Life All Rolled into One
This was a family trip, and we were so lucky we managed to take a few family trips just before the COVID situation hit. Because who knows how long it'll be before we can take another one! And the end of our trip was truly epic and resulted in a giant hole in our bathroom door and me crawling out of it!

Hokkaido: Stop and Smell the Roses
Probably best known for its ski slopes in winter, Hokkaido has always been high on our list of must-go places, but we never could go at the right time (winter for snow, or summer for flowers). And although we could only go in late September this time, we booked the tickets anyway!

Jeju Island: Of Volcanoes & Waterfalls
We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly on Jeju Island - from hiking up the highest mountain in South Korea, to admiring gorgeous waterfalls, to having one of the best BBQ meals we've ever had!

Career Break Travel: Mostar & Sarajevo
Mostar caught our eye when we were researching where to go after Croatia because of its fairytale-like beauty, and we decided to tack on Sarajevo without realising what it had to offer.

Career Break Travel: Zagreb, Plitvice Lakes, Split & Dubrovnik
Croatia is definitely not a cheap country to visit, especially tourist hotspots Dubrovnik and Plitvice Lakes! We first got sticker shock when we bought a drink while waiting for our Airbnb to be ready in Dubrovnik. The small bottle of aloe vera soft drink cost almost S$9! But apart from the high cost of living, Croatia is such a beautiful country.

Career Break Travel: Budapest
The main thing that struck us about Budapest was how photogenic it was. The buildings were all so beautiful and had such incredible detail. We spent most of our time exploring them on foot.
