WJ and I wanted to go for a cooking class in Hoi An, and what better place to learn at than at Miss Vy's? She's the owner of many famous restaurants in Hoi An and we've tried a few of them and liked what we ate!

9 Things to Do in Hoi An Ancient Town
Think all there is to do in Hoi An Ancient Town is walk around and snap photos of the photogenic area? Well, think again! The UNESCO world heritage site holds a lot more interesting things to do other than walk around aimlessly - although that is part of its' charm and one of the things I highly encourage you to do!

Marble Mountain: A Slippery Trek
On our first visit to Hoi An, we skipped Marble Mountain because we thought it wouldn't be worth seeing. After we drove past Marble Mountain from Da Nang to Hoi An, the image of the metal elevator against the side of the mountain cemented our perception that it would be boring.

Krabi’s Emerald Pool, Hot Spring and My Poor Butt

Hotel Review: Grand Mercure Dongguan Humen
Grand Mercure Dongguan Humen is near everything - food, shopping and parks. I've stayed here over 15 times, all for work trips. It's quite spacious with all the amenities you need. The only thing I have to complain about the room is their pillows. They're too soft! I always get a neck and shoulder ache when I sleep here.

Tales of Taxi Biking in Dongguan Humen
What do you call bicycles as private transport? I'm calling it taxi biking because I have no idea. Anyway, is it legal in Dongguan? I'm not sure. There were a few incidents where the drivers have asked me to get down early because they didn't want to ride past the police station and gave a vague reply when I asked why!
